The balcony is common to the living room and one of the bedrooms. It has a solarium area and a dining area, where you can enjoy a nice breakfast or lunch outdoors, contemplate the blue sky and the sea, read a book or simply sunbathe. AREA The property is located about 8 minutes from the historic centre of Funchal, of Madeira Island, where you can find the Farmer's Market ("Mercado dos Lavradores"), access the Cable Car and explore the Old Town. If you want to enjoy the beaches closest to your accommodation, there is an interesting range of free and paid options. Formosa Beach is free and extensive, with pebbles and black sand. Following the promenade you will find two paid beaches before reaching Formosa Beach, the "Ponta Gorda" Beach Complex and the "Cavacas" Dock. After the pedestrian tunnel the access to Praia Formosa is immediate. Continuing along the promenade you will end the walk in the neighboring county, Câmara de Lobos, a place with a lot of gastronomic and cultural diversity, to explore. Enjoy your stay to explore this location that offers countless possibilities! In the opposite direction, head towards the centre of Funchal and find other beaches available, such as "Gorgulho" Beach - Gavinas (free) and "Lido" Beach Complex (paid). To explore cultural activities, radical activities, activities linked to nature, it is best to rent a car and explore the other municipalities of Madeira Island. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the property. GUEST INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All necessary linens and towels are provided. A cot, high chair and baby's tub can be arranged if necessary. We have a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and an anti-fire blanket on all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
