Family holidays are decided, now it's time to choose the best stay ever! Madeira Island is a perfect destination for great walks and lots of fun with those you love. After fantastic walks, boat trips and descents in the famous basket carts, your family deserve to rest with great comfort, in a place with excellent taste. This is the perfect place for your family! The property has three bedrooms, both with double bed and decorated to the detail, where the classic and the modern decor are in tune, offering a pleasant atmosphere! The living room is large and has excellent natural light coming from the balcony, which offers a beautiful sea view and invites you for a quiet meal. The living room also has a sofa bed, giving a maximum capacity of seven people to the apartment. In addition to a fully equipped kitchen, there are also two full bathrooms. Property with parking. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Situated in one of the most prestigious tourist areas of Funchal, this flat is close to a pleasant seafront promenade, beaches, supermarkets, pharmacies, shops and the Forum Madeira shopping center, with several internationally renowned brands and movie theatres. You will also find in a walk distance plenty of bars and restaurants where you can indulge in our delicious gastronomy or in international cuisine. In addition to the nearby options, you will find a greater variety of restaurants in the city center, which can be reached within a five minutes drive. Next, to the apartment, you will find a beach with a natural swimming pool where you can enjoy your morning dives. GETTING AROUND An aerobus bus stop for airport arrivals and departures is within one-minute walk distance from the flat. Nevertheless, we recommend the private transfer service as the best option to get to the flat. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi on your own at the airport! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always at your disposal to help or answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair, and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher, and fire blanket are available in all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay. Positive: Very spacious apartment and a very well equipped kitchen. The location is great too as it's only a few meters away from a beautiful sunset spot, and also pretty close to a supermarket. It's a great location if you have a rental car as there is a parking garage and with the car you can explore the whole island. Negative: The windows weren't too secure and we heard and felt the wind going through the apartment. You can also hear the elevator going up and down very loudly, as well as the upstairs neighbor (especially the dog walking around upstairs)

The appartment was very nice, the view to the sea was lovely. Near to bus, supermarket, shoppingcenter and restaurants. Nice walkinglane to Funchal and Camara do lobos. Only "complain" was, that the cleaning lady dit not finish the cleaning before 17.00 p.m. (check in was 16.00 p.n.) We had to sit and wait at the balcony for 1 our.

Hosts were responsive and flexible when our flight was delayed. Unfortunately even though we messaged them about needing a crib, it was not there upon arrival, when the baby already needed to sleep somewhere. They did bring a new crib over very soon, but it was at 10pm so it was uncomfortable after a long flight, we also wanted to be asleep already… Almost all nights we heard conversations, chairs and a small dog from the apartment above, nothing major. The pictures represent the apartment setup but not the condition. Everything is old and very used, but working well. Overall we had a good time, just the expectations were higher because of the photos. Need to note that there is parking for only 1 car (understandable) and basically no free parking on the street. Might need to park further away. Also, the garage is very tight so I wouldn’t try to park an SUV inside. No issues during the stay, and the hosts were kind enough to arrange a late checkout so our baby can sleep at noon.
