Located “two steps away” from the of city center, the "Varandas do Funchal" is a friendly and welcoming apartment with access to a pleasant swimming pool. Here, you will be very close to the center of Funchal! It’s location allows you to move, on foot, to the most interesting sights in the city. This apartment accommodates four people in total, two in a room with a double bed and two in sofa bed, available in the living room. In the common spaces of the building you will find a swimming pool, shared by the condominium, where you can enjoy the good weather and enjoy sunbathing in the company of friends and family! If you want to rent a car, the building has a garage where you can park. The house is fully equipped with all amenities. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW There are several cafes nearby. Most shops, malls and supermarkets are a ten-minute walk away. This apartment is close to the Farmers Market, Old Town of Funchal and the Cathedral. From here you can explore on foot the various sights of our beautiful city. (eg Cable Car, Funchal Marina, CR7 Museum, Madeira Wine Lodge, etc ...) GETTING AROUND For departures and arrivals from the airport, the best option to get to the apartment is the transfer. Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners. It is cheaper than taking a taxi on your own in the airport! There are bus stops nearby to get you to the center of Funchal. GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the flat. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS We are always at your disposal to help or to answer your questions. You can contact us via our mobile numbers or by email. We will do our best to meet your requests. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide a crib, a baby high chair and a baby bathtub if needed. First aid kit, fire extinguisher and fire blanket are available in all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
