This one-bedroom apartment for two is a perfect escape from the buzz of the city below. It is decorated in a homely, contemporary style, right next to the market and is equipped with all modcons. It couldn't be easier to explore this lovely city. This modern studio with large windows has one double bed, a bathroom with shower, a kitchenette and a living room with a double sofa bed. This apartment is fully equipped with all modcons including tv, microwave, free wifi and air conditioning. THE NEIGHBORHOOD OVERVIEW Guests have easy access to several restaurants (there's a small coffee on your doorstep), shops and grocery facilities in the area. Within a 5 minutes walk you can reach the beautiful Market (Mercado dos Lavradores) filled with tropical plants, fruits and flowers, right next to the old town and the marina. GETTING AROUND To get from/to airport, there is a aerobus stop within 3 minutes walking distance from the house or you can ask us to arrange a taxi transfer with our local and trustworthy partners. Cheaper than the airport taxis! GUEST ACCESS Guests have access to all areas of the property. GUEST INTERACTION We are always available for any concern you may have. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (E.g. passport, identity card). - Check-in must be scheduled in advance. In case the check-in is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours prior arrival, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All necessary linens and towels are provided. A cot, high chair and baby's tub can be arranged if necessary. We have a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and an anti-fire blanket on all properties. ATTENTION Please be advised that a Tourist Fee will be charged to all persons staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. Thus, all customers staying in tourist resorts and/or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged €2.00 per person/night, up to a maximum of 7 nights and a maximum of €14.00 per person/stay.
