Quebra Costas I is an elegant duplex apartment, ideal for those looking for a comfortable stay in the heart of Funchal. With a capacity for 4 guests, it’s perfect for couples, friends, or small families wishing to discover Madeira in style. The apartment offers two bedrooms: one with a double bed and a private bathroom with a bathtub, and another with two single beds. There is also a second full bathroom in the hallway, also with a bathtub, providing both practicality and comfort. The social area includes a cozy living room and a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, there is a lounge space with a desk—perfect for reading or remote work—and access to a balcony with magnificent views over the city of Funchal. Although there is no private parking, a public parking lot is just 50 meters from the entrance, ensuring easy access. Access to the flat, located on the 3rd floor, is exclusively via stairs. AREA Located in a central and quiet area of Funchal, this apartment allows easy access to the city on foot. Nearby you’ll find restaurants, shops, supermarkets, and tourist attractions. Its proximity to the historic center and coastal area offers the perfect balance between Madeiran authenticity and modern convenience. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. There is a bus stop 2 minutes walk from the apartment. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - We inform that a Municipal Tourist tax will be charged for person staying overnight in the municipality of Funchal. All guests staying in tourist developments and / or accommodation establishments, aged 13 or over, will be charged 2,00€ per person/night, up to a maximum 7 nigths stay/ 14€ per person. Close to your arrival, you will receive the link to pay this fee. - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property.
