Set in a 25,000m2 vineyard estate, this house is located in a transition zone between the laurel forest and the agricultural land of São Vicente. The property is part of a group of houses with a shared swimming pool, sauna and several gardens with centenary trees and endemic species. The house is decorated in a classic and contemporary style and sleeps up to 4 people. It is equipped with two bedrooms and a wardrobe, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed, a bathroom with shower, an open-plan kitchen and living room, as well as a cosy balcony with a small dining table and mountain views. This property also has a coworking room that can be used on prior request, for an extra fee per day. Inside the property you can enjoy private parking, a stroll along the stream and the gardens or the backyard outside, where you can have breakfast (not included), made every morning by the caretaker. The main house has belonged to the same family since its inception and retains its original architecture, although it has undergone improvements and modernization. AREA The house is located in the north of the island, more precisely in Rosário, a parish in the municipality of São Vicente. As it is in a more isolated area, there are no shops in the vicinity of the property. A ten-minute drive from the town of São Vicente, you'll find local shops, restaurants, a supermarket and a pharmacy. In the vicinity of the house you have access to several trails and levadas, where you can take the opportunity to stroll and explore our fantastic island on foot. If you want to find other places or activities, the city of Funchal is a 45-minute drive away. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the property will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address. ACCESS TO PROPERTY You have access to all areas of the property. INTERACTION We are always available to help or answer questions. We do our best to reply all requests. We also have an app for guests with all the important information about the property and other useful information for your stay. OTHER OBSERVATIONS - According to Portuguese law, all guests are required to present a valid ID. (passport or identity card). - Check-in hour must be scheduled in advance. If it is not scheduled within a maximum of 48 hours before, guests will be subject to the availability of our team. - All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also put a baby cot, a high chair and a baby bath if needed, but you should request. There are a first aid kit, extinguishers and fire blanket in the property. ATTENTION Please note that the property does not have a laundry room. However, there is the possibility of requesting a laundry service, carried out by our cleaning team, at an extra cost and paid in cash directly to them.
